A PC magazine almost gave me a heart attack by claiming Valve had dropped pre DX9 support in the Orange Box. Motherfucking liars. I just checked on Steam. The pages for Episode 2, TF2, and Portal all say the minimum is DX8. Fuck you, "Maximum PC".

Upping the minimum requirements to DX9 would me I couldn't play the games in the Orange Box. I've been really looking forward to Portal, and to a lesser extent Episode 2. It wasn't just nitpicking over details; my gaming future is at stake!
