Payday 2 update is around the same size as the digital game itself. When I saw that I just quit and then started the dl manually before I went to bed. Update is needed for online play, and this games AI is fucking stupid so playing it solo is pretty bad. Trust me I've tried it
It's the best way for me to avoid corrupt dl's with this system, although small stuff (less than say 300mb) is ok at any time.
