Payday 2 update is around the same size as the digital game itself. When I saw that I just quit and then started the dl manually before I went to bed. Update is needed for online play, and this games AI is fucking stupid so playing it solo is pretty bad. Trust me I've tried it
It's the best way for me to avoid corrupt dl's with this system, although small stuff (less than say 300mb) is ok at any time.

Not really. I gave writing the articles over to a buddy of mine. I spent all day writing a huge article on Monday, so I said: "Fuck it no more" Right now it's mostly gaming that's keeping me up.

Interesting. I think Virgin Media need to check their exchange outside of my home... A few years ago (2009) they had to come out and fix some wires in the exchange. The pit was flooding with rain water, and given the fact that was almost 5 years ago I bet the same thing has happened again.

idk what effect water would have on fibre, but it's really bad for copper. Virtually all the problems I've had have been due to line rot, and the pit down the road usually gets flooded once a year.
