I've run many other versions of MAME/MAMEUI in the past and have never had any problems with Night Driver. I upgrade to 0.153, and then this happens:

Now what the hell is that? Each time I reload the rom I get a different string of characters (hitting F3 or F2 doesn't change anything).
I've 1) Downloaded several nitedrvr roms from various websites, 2) Tried to fix the rom in Romcenter and, 3) Tried activating/deactivating the art files (Bezels and such) to no avail.
Anyone have any idea what's up?
