Okay, so the thing is, every single dump I was able to find, even the translated version, has a glitch where you never get tear drops of either colour and in the first stage the boss never drops a key to open up the cage with the fairy.

And I checked a Nico video and know for a fact it's supposed to drop it. Also must have cleared around 30 screens of enemies and never got one single solitary drop, so I'm fairly certain this dump is bad.

Anyone have any ideas ?
