I'm taking a retail meat cutting course to get my trades qualification certificate in meat cutting. One month out in Kamloops, one year practicum, then come back next year for another month. Once I'm finished next year, I write the TQ and if I pass, I have my journeyman papers. And a $2.50/hour raise.
