    My biggest recommendation would have to be Lunar: Sliver Star Story Complete. To this day, it's still near the top of my list of Best Games Ever. The sequel, Eternal Blue, is excellent too. For platformers, I'd recommend the Rayman series, Pac-Man World, The Adventures of Lomax and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko. Alundra is also awesome in a very Zelda-like way.
