Think about that, (Black rob is a legend BTW) think about how much harder Jay would have to work against the likes of Biggie.
Jay has only had to go against the likes of Nas.

Oh and pirates, you cant sit there and say to me "I only go for underground rappers" FYI, every "mainstream" rapper was "underground" at some point.
Jay Z started the ROC HIMSELF
    Eminem was a detroit phenom.
    Proof.
    Obie Trice.
    MOP
    Mobb Deep
    Easy E.
    Rakim.

All of them at one point were underground, why did they become mainstream? becuase they were good at rapping. So the next time someone goes "Oh that ***** is mainstream, he cant rap" think about the reason he came from the underground into the mainstream light.
lmfao black rob is not a legend, name some hits he's had.

    Real mature.

Oh i liek how the number one reason Jay Z sucks is because he is "fugly" im guessing sum black ass pimpled fuck wrote that in his moma's basement.
Oh and 2nd reason was about Beyonce, last time i looked we are looking for reasons Jay Z sucked, not Beyonce.

Admit it Pirates, you know NOTHING about rap, your number one reply to me, is Jay Z is Fugly.
Grow some lyrical taste please. Dont come back till you do, k?

You shouldn't assume that Jase, nor anyone else here watches MTV or BET for their Hip-Hop fixes just because we all have differing tastes. I never watch MTV other than for some reality shows, and I never watch BET because it just flat out doesn't interest me, yet I have my own taste in Hip-Hop that isn't influenced by those two networks.

"Whoa", life story his first CD was number 3 in the billboard 100.

Oh but wait, anyone reading this? Pirates just had a shot at me for saying before becuase Jay Z and Nas were mainstream, but now his asking for hits that an artist has.

Make your mind up, are you underground or are you mainstream, if your underground then hits wouldnt matter.

Come to think about it, Black Rob is underground. Just like Shyne.

Im not saying you know nothing about hip hop but i look at rap like this.... its supposed to be something from the streets, thats how it started. People in cali made gangsta rap famous because the people that were doing the shit were real ....... from the hood doing real shit that real gangstas can relate to. Im sorry i cant relate to some over hyped black man talking about pourin cristal on bitches while chewing on diamonds.

The fact that you said "omfg" shows that you, in fact, are not street.

    BET = Racism.

He never rapped about all of that when his career first began. Only when he was finally cemented as a star. Besides, rapping about that sort of thing gets old, fast. Not everyone wants to hear about how tough it was in the streets. How many times have we heard the same thing from so many different rappers? You can't really blame him for rapping about what he does now, can you? He's a star. He raps like one, and about that life style. It's expected.

    Im not assuming. I know.
I dont have MTV nor BET, remember im in a different country AWAY from rap culture we dont get your TV channels, i wait 3 months to get a Hip Hop Mag.

His saying dirty south is the shit. ANY rap site/mag will tell you dirty south music has no flow, and what is rap about, flow.
Its all chopped and screwed thats why its hot, its liek saying "timberland is the best rap artist of our time, his beats are sick"
Um okay, his beats are sick, you didnt say nothign about his flow the BASE of rap itself.

He number one reason to disprove me that Jay Z is the king of NY, becuase he is fugly.
You read my posts, then read his, you tell me from a distance who looks like they have the better understanding of rap, a person with insightful posts or someone thats idea of a reply is "that dude is fugly"
