[GBA] 0741 - Rocky (U)(Venom) save problem

I'm playing this game on my Xrom 512Mbit flash cart, and it seems the save feature doesn't work.
It works fine until i turn the power off and on again.

I'm using LittleWriter lastest beta (0.8.4?) to flash the rom on my flash cart, and i'm obviously making a multi rom cart since the size of the game is only 64Mbit.

The game has an intro, and littlewriter tries to remove it by default, so i turned off the no-intro plugin. It can't be trimmed (size doesn't change when trimming), but i turned off auto-trimming as well just in case.
The save type is EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory). My flash cart is supposed to support that (not really sure on this one) so I tried with SRAM patch and also without SRAM patch plugin.

Even after trying various combinations of those plugins, I couldn't make the damn game to save.

Now i'm asking for help, as anyone managed to make it save properly?

P.S. I did a few quick yet precise google searches for a patch, or problem about this rom, couldn't find something. I checked on No frills patch archive on pocketheaven, no patch available.

P.S. 2 I'm not using any exit hack, and not using pogoshell either.

Have you tested the (E) version of the game rom #1883 ?

If neither are working maybe trying the rom on it's own just to see if it works then.

As I don't have that card though this is the only advice I can offer sorry :/

I tried the European version and this one locks up at the first screen where it says "Rocky V trademark blah blah"
I tried again plenty of pugin combo without luck.

If anyone has an idea, i'd like to hear about it. Thanks.

Did you try with the game on it's own (U) version obviously if the (E) version is that bad for you

(E) = D2E55FB5
(U) = 4F981E6E

Not sure I understand what you mean, but i verified the crc's and they are fine.

I just put the CRC 32 info up so you could check if you couldn't it wasn't relevent to what I asked though lol

I mean did you try flashing just the game with no other rom on your flash card

No...I just think only flashing that 64Mbit rom on my 512Mbit flashcart is a bit of a loss, but that might be a problem.
Some roms are known to be weird acting when put with other roms.

Maybe i'll try when i'm done with my games.

good idea lol, but yeah I know what you mean it does seem a bit of a shame to have that much space left over.
