I agree, I am so happy that hockey is back on.

Except the damn Flyers are already two games down. Hockey is the only sport that gets me to the point where I'm yelling at the TV.

Yeah, any kind of oil-like substance will work to take adhesives off. It's just probably safer to use veg oil on something like a video game box. I can at least verify that it won't damage the ink.

It's gradually gotten worse over the course of the day. When I went out to get groceries around 3 it was only slightly foggy, but wasn't too bad. Now it's like walking into a cloud. I heard a ferry sound its horn earlier and I thought demons were going to start pouring out of the woodwork.

I'll pick up some WD40 next time I'm shopping and try it on a really common box. My copy of Airwolf is slightly faded and has two stickers on the front. I might try vegetable oil on the top one and WD40 on the bottom, see if there's a noticable difference.

    SCIENCE

Also, you should have watched the Oilers v. Canucks game earlier. Oilers were down 2-0 near the end of the 2nd period, scored a goal in the last three seconds, then managed to rocket one past Luongo at about the halfway point of the third period. Stayed even until the shootout, Dubnyk stopped both shots against him, and Gagner & Hemsky both scored on the first two shots of the shootout to finish it.

We aren't an amazing club, but rallying back from a 2-0 deficit seems to be a consistent thing for the Oilers. It's one of the few things I love about being an Oilers fan.

Also, 1st Draft Pick Defending Champions three years in a row.

Time for a smoke then off to bed.

Day off tomorrow, hanging out with an old friend I haven't seen for over a year.

I'm curious about how well WD-40 will work. Everything I learned about removing stickers and stuff was through trial and error.

    Experiment on!

Heh, I woke up kinda late today to the Flyers and Sabers tied 2-2. A couple of bad calls by the refs and it turned into 4-2, then finally a empty net goal by the Sabers put them to rest. My throat still hurts from all the yelling.

Now to start re-arranging my NES games...by release date.

I usually listen to games on the radio. And by radio I mean live streaming a radio broadcast from the Internet, 'cause they rarely air Oilers games out here. So watching a game is a big deal for me.

I've thought about buying games by release date. I've got about half the games from 1985-1986 already, and nothing is extremely rare in those two years.

I just thought it would be a bit more interesting sorted like that. At least sorted by release year and then sorted alphabetically within each year. It would allow you to kind of see how the NES line-up evolved over it's lifetime.

For right now though I think I'm actually going to lay down and get warm and cozy. Maybe watch some Adventure Time or something like that. It's so cold in this house.
