Most of the ultimate weapons don't add too much anyway, with the only notable exceptions being Squall's Lionheart, and Selphie's Strange Vision, if only because the latter auto-boosts her to 255% hit chance.
Shame you can't force the Lionheart Limit Break to trigger, but I suppose that would break any remaining semblance of balance the game had over its knees.
I'm not very fond of that limit break anyway. It's obvious (in my opinion) that they saw how popular Cloud's Omnislash was in FF VII and thought "Let's have more o' that!" Always felt a bit like a copout to me, thanks to that. That's compounded, of course, by the fact that I just flat-out don't like Squall.

hola
Man, the first time I beat FF8 I never even knew there was limit breaks, so I never used one. It wasn't till I saw a thread about the limits I learned about them.
An aggressive fog engulfed the parking lot in a matter of minutes. Crossing the lot in search of his postal box would ordinarily prove to be a simple task. On this day however, Jazz was never heard from again.
Tempted to participate in the Secret Santa thing, but I wouldn't know what to buy people.![]()
I barter with the best
The tire I really wanted was at a local thrift shop (215/65/16), but I thought the guy wanted too much for it. So, I bought two tires off a guy on Craigslist last night (205/55/16). They would work, but I'd have to change both back tires, and I didn't really want to do that. I took the 2 205's to the guy who had the tire I wanted, and traded them even for a 215. Only invested $15 in the two 205's, so I got the original tire for a price I'm happy with.
I meant to take a pic of the old tire before I tossed it. I thought it looked really bad, but I had been seeing the good side.
I'm seriously surprised it hadn't exploded![]()
