From what I've seen Sony like to overlap there slims and original models a little as they move on, Not to mention I've found some people try to avoid the Slim remodels as they worry its made of cheaper components and wont last as long maybe sony was offering both to make sure the customer got what they wanted. its well known the Orignal PS1 is far better built than the PSOne and same goes for the Fat vs Slim, Dunno about the PS3's though dont own one.
I Remember Nintendo tried to do something similar at one point they had on the market the GBA SP, GB Micro and DS all at once and wondered why the Micro Failed to shift more units![]()
well, i can't find any import-capeable mods for the PS2S, so PS2 it is
The fat PS2 is probably better for soft-modding anyway. You can buy a network adaptor, stick an IDE harddisk in it, and run games off it with super-quick loading times / be spared the hassle of messing around with dozens of burned discs. You can do the same with the USB ports on the slim, but the PS2's USB ports are only USB 1.1, so they aren't nearly as fast as IDE.
I really don't think I will.
Quite frankly, I consider the SEGA forums a massive cesspit with little to no redeeming features. RP is only as successful as its other participants, after all, and I really really can't be bothered to come up against grossly overpowered Sonic recolour #83249876. Ever.
One person tried that in my thread. I didn't even let him. 'My fan-characters will beat you any day!'
Yeah, I'm shaking.
re-watching Moonwalker in its entirety. found it copied to a VHS along with the original TMNT movie and some old news footage, terrible quality, youtubing it at 480P and it's much better, probably better on the Blu-Ray.
Yeah, good luck beating Archie Robotnik. Just for reference, you're dealing with a mentally unstable insane genius who successfully thwarted every effort made against him, reasoned his way back from complete and utter insanity, and subsequently managed to rebuild and re-launch the Death Egg.
Enjoy the fight, because that ought to be hilarious to watch.
That version is, incidentally, also completely and utterly evil, has no compunctions about killing at all, and prefers torture to... well, most anything else. He's also as scientifically capable as the other incarnations of Robotnik.
I'll stamp it with an 'extremely unlikely' for you, so you won't have to make the effort, shall I?
I could disabuse the notion of 'friends of Enerjak' in approximately 20 seconds. Mostly the fact that he's a world-destroying entity who sees his goal in existence the scouring of all life, so that a new world can begin, unfettered by whichever insane notion came across its mind at that point in time. Friends do not habitually cross the mind of this being.
Also, at the present time, there is no Enerjak.
Also, why does every discussion I have on this forum devolve into a Sonic rant these days? Oh right, premier Robotnik fanboy and self-appointed keeper of ridiculous amounts of factoids about the various Sonic universes.
Oh well.
I mean, really, I enjoy these rants, but I fear they might be annoying to others. Feel free to shut me up if that would be the case. Except you, GSB. You participating means you've lost the right to.
Exceptionally unlikely on practically every level. The only confirmed two sightings of that particular version we have are the passing into insanity one that was swiftly brought back to sanity and out of Enerjak's abilities, and the second one went insane and...
Oh look, he destroyed the world. Alternate zone, of course, but the theory's the same. Here's the crux - if he'd have kept going, that version would've destroyed every single one of the worlds in every single dimension. And even the first example wasn't going to keep friends, he wanted to destroy everything so the world could start over again. A few survivors would've been all that was left. Yes, he'd have saved them. And subsequently probably killed 'em if they so much as spoke a single word against him. 'defending' Mobius doesn't really figure into it.
Plus, if memory serves, that was all the machinations of the equally insane and evil Doc Finitevus, who is only slightly less of a Genius than Dr. Robotnik, going by that continuity.
Also, unless a 'shut up' order is issued, I will have to continue this later. Break's over, back to work. See you in an hour and a half or so.
i'm getting there.....
i have to wonder if it's betraying SEGA buying a PS2? after all, without that we'd have the big four, not three. my PS1 was a gift, so no Nintendo betrayal there, should i get a Dreamcast and all the games first, or what? this Sony leaning of mine is starting to scare the Nintendo/SEGA part of me (which is most of me) into thinking my exclusive days are over. then again, if i pirate all the PS2 games, i'm hurting Sony and therefore helping SEGA![]()
