    Default

    Use NullCD Naomi instead

    http://code.google.com/p/nulldc/

demul is rather old and outdated

    01 september 2010 newest demul
21 august 2011 newest NullDC Naomi build

For what it is worth demul works much the same as mame you need a chd aswell as the game files but those are not listed in the dat even if they are required aswell as Naomi specific bios sets

There are also several version of the chd around as MAME gets updated so has the chd format (chd is a format specific to MAME that has been adopted by demul, but MAME is still very much up to date and demul is not)

There are tools included with mame for handling chd's, last time I looked you can change the version of a chd (not sure you can roll back to an older version or not though)
