That's cool! In terms of tone I guess I go for something fat and slightly percussive. Love my Mesa Boogie. I play pretty hard and use heavy strings though so I can cut back the distortion and get a nice fat sound.

I'm replacing the neck with a better one from a $40 broken floor model strat copy i got at a music store.

Basically an LP, but with ES-335 like cutaways. Flat top. Slightly figured maple top, Mahogany back.
