Yeah, Ubuntu seems pretty good other than this brightness bug. I'm honestly shocked it recognises the WLAN chip in this netbook.

I love OSX, it works perfectly for me. Stable as hell and after nearly a year it runs just as well as the day I got it. In comparison my Windows 7 machine has slowed down to a crawl and I've barely used it for months.

Ubuntu had one problem with my Wireless PCI card also but it was just confirming did I want to use non open source drivers which I didn't really care about.

I also heard ubuntu is not really tailored for laptops.

My windows system has been running consistently for a long time, my friends Macbook he got two years ago has caused him nothing but trouble, it's really how you maintain your system more than anything else.

Among my favs, and I'm only recommending games you may like, there are Stardust HD, Söldner X series, Wipeout HD, GTi Club, Flower, Trine, PacMan CE DX, Joe Danger, Shatter.. you may have played some of them already.
Then there are others that I'm not sure if they are for you like Fat Princess and Marvel Pinball.
I liked the Alien Breed demo a lot and that's why I bought it, really cool if you plan to share it for coop play and loads of trophies, including On sale this week.
Lara Croft is another good one if you want to share it.

But really, it cries itself to sleep everynight because it's just a prettied up whore that exists so middle aged businessmen can pleasure themselves to it.
