What improvements are there going from XP to Vista? Stuff that will actually benefit me, like performance shit.

If you have a PC that can run vista, go for it. As far as performance goes, right now they are about the same. As for stability, it goes to vista. compatability goes to vista as well. I'm running vista x64 and I'm playing C&C95. Plus vista comes with a built in drive imaging proggie. As long as you get the updates for vista you'll be good to go.

XP hasn't crashed for me in ages, though. So how can people say Vista is more stable?
btw that link you posted in the other thread everyone said that Vista was slower in games.
Will Vista make anything else that's useful perform better?

The fact that XP x64 just fucking destroyed my partition table is where I base the stability part from >.< I've never BSOD'd in vista.... Of course I probably only had 2 in XP and one was from an unstable OC so yeah...
Depends on how you define useful. I'd just say not really. But since your a pirate, wtf why not
