    Default Help me please :)

    Ok so i downloaded all the plugins i need graphics,sound and so on and i create a memory card but it wont run ff8 just shows a black screen anyone got any ideas?

    No sorry im new to this site and dont no much, most of this stuff ive guessed untill ive got it nearly right so yea ill read it now. If i cant find the problem still can u help me?

    I hardly ever use emulators, but I'm sure if those threads don't help, some of our resident Emu-guru's will be more than happy to assist

    Ok i have to extract split archives, and ive done the first one but when i do the 2nd one it says i have to replace the old ones cause it has the same names can u help?

    You only have to do it once. The first file will extract the rest automatically

    hmmmm the first one extracts automatically, so right click on folder -> extract here is what i did and it only did the first one? any ideas why?

    It's a spanned archive...the first one will extract all the other ones. People split the archives so it's easier to download...you don't have to grab all (many hundreds of) MB at once. You can download some one day, and finish later, if you like.

    so do you have any ideas why the first one isnt extracting all the other parts?

    It is

    Once you extract the first one, you're done.

    Think it has worked, the file size is 696mb seems about the right size dosnt it

    Yeah, that's sounds like an average PSX ISO size

    lmao get it working but theres another issue lol, i start it up i think yea! squaresoft logo woooooooooooo then it goes to title screen and bang its right up in the top corner lol can you think of a way to fix it like putting it fullscreen again?

    That's outside of my area...I don't use ePSXe, so hopefully someone will come along and answer that

    You have to configure it in the video plugin options to go full screen.
