Wip3out on ePSXe v1.80 crash

I've downloaded wip3out from emuparadise and followed this guide -> http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?57757

but when i tried to run the.cue file, epsxe crashed at this point with this error

epsxe configuration:
Version : 1.8.0 Shark enchanced
Video : Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.9 (tried other options, still crashed at the same point)
Sound : ePSXe SPU Core 1.8.0 (other options will stutter the sound)
Bios : SCPH750
WO3 Game format : .cue (.iso/.bin will not play music at all, still crashed at the same point)

Is there a solution to this? Thank you

Try running the game on the latest version of ePSXe, 1.9.25, see if that fix problem.

Also, try not to use savestate as well while playing through the game, especially during the race sequence.

Use http://psxdatacenter.com/ to get settings for ePSXe

Though I would try another copy of the game, maybe the (E) version if we have it and you got the (U) version, otherwise vice versa, I say this because the error you have you normally get from a bad disc image
