Default How do you install PSOne Classics on PS3 with CFW?

    Hello everyone,

I downloaded a few PSOne Classics from the site, but how do I install them on my PS3 with CFW?
I have Multiman if it's required, but no clue how to make them launch.

All the games consist of 3 files:
    DOCUMENT.DAT
    EBOOT.PBP
    KEYS.BIN

    Thanks everyone.

Those are used with the PSP

I am fairly sure the PS3 will require the pkg files instead to install from

(I am not 100% sure though as I refuse to mod my PS3 as it is still a very much active console)

    Mod projects - XBOX
Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2 - online quests in offline mode packs [COMPLETE]
    [Quest Packs Collection]
GTA San Andreas - Hot Coffee [COMPLETE]
[Mod ready] & [Full ISO ready]
GTA San Andreas - Real Car Names extra content mod [WIP] [Back burner, just won't have the time ]
Please can all ESR users post your results here to help with the project and others wanting to use ESR

I bought the CFW PS3 console from a flea market this week-end and it happens that it's loaded with Alundra, which is a PSOne Classics game.
The game is accessible directly from the XMB (under "Game") and it loads directly from there.
    Spoiler warning:

That makes me believe there is a way out there to install them.

Unfortunately I can't contact that person anymore to ask him, please someone help

I think there are tools to convert, but it depends on CFW version...the older tools won't work for newer CFW.

Would you be kind enough to point me to some direction mate?
I've dried all my search results and got nothing to show for it.

    Thank you

Well I think converting PSP games isn't so difficult...use PSPtoPS3 GUI.
    But:
PBP and PKG games can't be patched, Only ISOs
So I guess for PSOne Classics you might need to decrypt PBP...psxtract: A tool to decrypt and convert PSOne Classics from PSP / PS3.

I would have a look on psx-scene. I'm not going to link to a heap of stuff because I haven't done any of this myself (my PS3 is virgin) and you haven't mentioned what CFW you're using

You will have to do some reading based on what you have.

these are decrypted for psp. you need the psn pkg to install for ps3 play along with a fix which is the decrypted edat. its easier to just play psx bin/cue through multiman or webman
