Trying to run FFIX gets me a black screen and sound that only starts running *after* I close the emulator. Oo

Older than you think
use the default SPU plugin also do not close the emulator while the game screen is shown always press ESC (Escape) to return to the GUI and either use file and exit or the usual X on the top left but if you do this when the game screen is up it will keep running even though the game screen has been closed, full emulation is still running even though nothing is shown on screen, hence the music is still playing
also what exact Special Fixes do you have active as this game does not require any it was only FF7 and 8 that needed this on to fix a graphical error
