Magatama freezes xbox

Whenever I try to load magatama the xbox just freezes.

Does anyone know how to get this to work on the original xbox?.

Will test it as soon as I get it though there is only a mention of 360 on the upload that I find very odd

How/when does it freeze and what is shown on the screen at the time?

There is a common problem with the xbox loading to a black screen, can happen with any game

Sometimes this is caused by what is in the cashe folders on your xbox, these can be deleted though with ease

Or this will happen to every new piece of software/game added to the xbox that is caused by having too many saves on the xbox (game system saves and/or normal game saves), there is a rather low limit of 240, this is due to the format of the Xbox HDD being FatX (This issue is best avoided as there is no clear way to resolve this, best to remove said save data from games that are not currently being played, but once the issue is hit this does not seem to resolve it....)

It freezes on the screen just before the game begins to load.
So literally on the screen after you press the A button to load the game.
I've deleted cache and the having too many game saves you suggested but still not working.

What region is you Xbox? Even with a mod, some out of region games don't work. You can try Enigmah PAL/NTSC Selector, that might work.

My xbox is pal region but I'll try that Enigmah PAL/NTSC Selector you've suggested.

EDIT - The same thing happened maybe it's one of those games that won't work.

FTPing it now via Qwix/Avalaunch directly from the iso image

I use XBMC as my dash

I already patched my system to NTSC video via Enigmah but it is a PAL system

There has only been one game so far that I could not get to run due to the DVD drive region rather than the actual system region, was one of the many sports games, I forget the exact game

The game ran perfect for me... Played into the action a little way but not too far (I only wanted to do a quick test)

I finally got it to work by using Qwix to extract, auto patch xbe and ftp to xbox. Thank you to Zorlon & Jackhammer for your help.
