How can i rip my gamecube game or get my laptop to read the disk

I have a bunch of gamecube games but my gamecube is busted how can i get my pc to play them on the emulator or even rip them.
I have a wii but it is stock with no modifications

The Wii is super easy to mod up. Do it, there's info up in in the stickies that tells what you need to do. It's the only practical way to rip Gamecube/Wii games. Once you're modded up you can toss CleanRip on, and dump away.

If you don't want to mod your Wii (I honestly don't know why you wouldn't want to) it is possible to dump NGC/Wii games on a PC but you need a specific type of DVD-Rom drive and software.
There's a Howto thread on Dolphin Forums that lists compatible drive models, but afaik you need one of a specific model list of Hitachi/LG DVD-Rom.
There should be a USB LG drive you can get that will work on a laptop.

Modmii is all you need to mod your Wii

There is no reason not to do that

Loading is even faster from HDD than from discs and has more features like cheats and cover art display

Nintendo do not lock Wii's from online play or anything like that plus if you planed to sell your Wii after dumping your games you can remove the mod and restore it to it's pre modded state

Part of the modding you make a backup of your Wii's Nand this can obviously be restored to make the console the way it was before the mod was applied
