Open the cue file with UltraISO
Once open where it says PS CD click on the tick next it
In the media drop down select 4.7(4.37)GB
Check the Optimize box
Check UDF
Click OK
Click Save As

P.S. do not use that software with PSX/PSone CD images though it will break them

break as in does not work after that software has done anything to them xa is a special type of header that is part of the CD header not a the actual files and UltraISO does not support that header

PSone games it depends on your mod

saying that if your PS2 can't read CD-R backups of PS2 games it will not read PSone CD-R backups either

Will it work if I try play PSOne CD, convert it into DVD, and play it on my PS2 slim? I've tried burning it on CD-R with CUE version, it can play after a while, but it has some errors in it (can't play cutscene in-game), and then the disc can't be read is shown in the memory card screen.

Nope PSOne games can not run from DVD

Will check the disc image later and see if it could e an error on your end

It could also just be the media you are using that is the issue there are a lot of low quality CD-R's out there

PSOne Games can't read and use PS2 memory cards right? I don't have PSOne, memory cards, so it might be impossible to do a game save. Or is it possible with a bit of McBoot Hack?

Hello, I can't get this BIN/CUE game working on my PS2 Slim, also tested on PSCX2 Emulator plugin and it doesn't play. I've tried your UltraISO method, Zorlon, no avail. Is it because of Japan region? Any help will be appreciated.

McBoot Hack just allows 3rd party PS2 code to be ran from Memcard USB and other locations

Your PS2 is struggling to read your CD-R's, possibly poor quality media or burning at high speeds or both if not it's just the drive is loosing it's ability to read CD-R's and will eventually stop reading CD's totally even pressed originals

Without a PSX memcard there is no point in trying, though there is a PSX emulator for the PS2 that runs from USB HDD though compat is rather low and most of what it does run has errors

At what speed should I burn it? What's the PSX emulator called?

My PS2 Slim plays music CD fine which I assume all music CD's are CD-R.

Have you tried the BIN/CUE games I posted here? The Simple 2000 Series, ISO runs fine on my PS2 Emulator, but after I burnt it with UltraISO conversion, it gets this PS2 Red Screen error. My UltraISO is version 9.6.1.3016, I don't know if it has to do my UltraISO though.

Edit: DUDE, you freaking saved my life, I tried burning at 4X, the Simple 2000 Series works on CD-R, I wondered why the UltraISO DVD conversion version, doesn't work, even though the Kengo UltraISO the conversion you did works fine.

I haven't tried the Wing Commander yet though.

Edit: I've just tried Wing Commander at low burning speed, works fine as well. Now I only need a PS1 Memory Card.

Plus, why do CD-R must burn at low speed, do they burn at slow speed rate when they make copied CD's back then? For other PS2 ISOs, do you think it is just better to burn those DVD ISOs with low speed, just for good burning quality?

I like to ask, what kind of software burner that is recommended, for burning at slow speed? Is UltraISO a recommended one? I've tried it, even though I click 4x, it burns at 10x, which is also at slow speed I guess.

I just bought 4 PSOne Memory Cards from someone here locally (luckily its Made in Japan), and I thought its great now that I can play PSOne games without any trouble saving.

Nope UltraISO is one to avoid

Imgburn works for all console CD-Roms DVD-Roms and BD-Roms though and it is totally free

I'm sure I even posted a burning guide in the guides stuck thread of this section

i recommend ULTRAISO to convert the bin/cue to DVD, then you can patch it with ESR PATCHER and you're done
