BIN/CUE are CD based PS2 games. You can't patch those to use with FMCB, although some such games can be converted to DVD and patched.

Or alternatively to getting CD>DVD conversions, if you have a legit PS2 CD game you can use Cogswap to boot up burnt CDs.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

    What is FMCB?

What do you mean CD - DVD Conversion? I tried converting it into ISO, but the PS2 don't play it as well.

FBMC is an exploit, Free Boot Memory Card

ESR is actually a method that can be used through FBMC to play DVD backups that have been ESR Patched, it just changes a descriptor inside iso to read as DVD Video while keeping all of the game files

ESR can only be used with DVD's but most PS2 CD's can be converted to DVD using a number of different methods

    Mod projects - XBOX
Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2 - online quests in offline mode packs [COMPLETE]
    [Quest Packs Collection]
GTA San Andreas - Hot Coffee [COMPLETE]
[Mod ready] & [Full ISO ready]
GTA San Andreas - Real Car Names extra content mod [WIP] [Back burner, just won't have the time ]
Please can all ESR users post your results here to help with the project and others wanting to use ESR

    From this guide, http://www.epforums.org/showthread.p...o-Dvd-Tutorial,

the guide mentioned that Kengo: Master of Bushido, can't be converted because it has RARE CHECKS/LBA TABLES. Does this mean the game can't be burn and play at all?

as in it can't be converted by the method outlined there, but it can be played from CD using a mod chip or possibly another method or other convert method

I have not tested that game myself though

That guide the OP linked to only lists the PAL version as not working Would it be worth trying the US version or would the same issue exist?
I've also noticed that there's a PS2 classics version of the Japanese game...for PS3 I guess, or is it on Vita too?

The game itself no, but the region yes and programming will be slightly different but not the game itself

All 3 regions are released by different publishers also
