Unhappy Please, help me! I can't burn Xenosaga Episode I correctly in 3 DVD5.

    First of all, hello everyone!

I'm a Spanish gamer and I recently bought the Xenosaga trilogy from the USA (in Europe we only got the second game). As some of you would know, I have no problem with Episodes II and III, since they come in 2 regular DVDs. The problem is Episode I because it's a dual layer DVD and I can't boot it with Swap Magic. I tried dividing the game myself into three parts with the kit provided by an user in this forum, but it seems my DVD player can't read the second layer since there are files which don't appear at all. Then I found the undub version provided by another user and I downloaded it. I burnt the 3 DVDs and at first they seem to work, but it takes too long loading and the scenes get stuck, then continue for one second, get stuck again, and so on.

I tried Verbatim but I always get errors while burning, so I used TDK DVDs and they seemed to burn alright. I tried both 4x and 8x speeds with Nero, but the results were the same in both cases. Can someone give me some advice? Maybe I did something wrong.

    Thank you.

Use the tools in the kit to get the second layer to read

Burning just use Imgurn set at 1x to get the slowest possible speed

P.S. 4x is only good if that is the slowest speed for the burning hardware at the time that was recommended as the best speed for burning (and that applied to CD-R's not DVD's) at the time that was because most burning hardware burned at 4x at the slowest speed but burners that burned between 1x and 4x produced lower quality burns at 4x so it was naive advice at the time

Branded media means nothing as all brands can be bad or high quality the only real way to find out if the media is good is by testing it or looking at others results, the media information unfortunately can't be found until to read the disc on a PC, more info can be found at http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia & http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmediafor...info=1#dvdinfo

I just used DVD+R's Verbatim with a Media code of MCC.....004
