My emulator of choice for the android system on the kids TV box is MD.emu. I know that retroarch for android is also available, however, I find it is very buggy on the android platform especially with sudden force closing in the middle of gameplay.
When downloading roms for Sega CD in that section, all of them contains 2 files a bin and cue. MD.emu does not recognize any rom when loading either the bin or cue. However retroarch does recognize the game and plays it.
After browsing around I found a Sega CD rom in the Miscellaneous section. After downloading that one, it contained many bin files of around 25 and 1 cue file. As a surprise when loading the cue in md.emu, it plays the Sonic CD game fine.
My question is has anyone experienced such a thing where Sega CD roms has to be in a particular format for a certain emulator?
Thanks
