Default Going to buy a Nintendo DSi XL need advice

So I started a new thread cause the other one was for a game with problems and I talked about to get a new DS there but it's not related so this is the new one

OK I live in hell and this things are expensive here but I managed to track down a new and sealed Nintendo DSi XL that's very cheap so I'm going to get it! I'm thinking that I want to use my old R4 with it but since it's not that good and it's a clone and the official page is gone I can't right? But I found on Google that some flash carts can be updated soo anyone know if mine can be updated and maybe someone have this update file and can upload for me and be my savior? or should I just get a DS Two?

This is exactly how my cart box and version is:

DS Two are rare to find here and they're expensive so that's why I want to use my old one

Also another fast question: Can this trick used to turn DS lite to sleep mode by using a magnet damage my DS Lite?

I would go for a Supercard DSTwo since they are fantastic Flashcards and why exactly do you want to put your DS Lite to sleep using a magnet?

I close mine all the time, of course you don't slam it shut, you simply close it, you mean you have to actually "force" the DS to close?

Sorry I'm not that good in English so I think you're misunderstanding me

I don't have to apply any kind of force to close the lid but it makes some kind of noise as it is closing and you can feel that it's because it days may be numbered

I'm thinking to turn the Lite in a GBA after getting a GBA flash cart in the future so I will use the XL to play DS games in a bigger screen!

Sounds like a good plan, You definitely Want a Supercard DSTwo then, it has alot more features than any other flash card since it has a built in CPU, it can emulate alot of stuff a normal flashcard can not..

With the DS Two you can play a lot of GBA games on an XL without a GBA cart

I strongly advise against getting a cheap flash kit though if avoidable

All R4 kits are not official R4 kits now, as the original team died off before there was a DSi let alone any flash kits with i in there name like R4i

As far as I know kernel updates for flash carts usually aren't interchangeable, meaning updates for other cards probably won't work on yours. If the guys working on updates for your card aren't around anymore (I assume since their site is gone) then chances are you aren't going to be able to update it any further. If you can afford it go for a DSTwo.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"
