Default ePSXe FFIX running to fast

Heyho guys I have a problem with FFIX on ePSXe v1.6.0
I've tried many different video plugins and with every single one it runs too fast. I tried to use FPS limit as well set it to 60 and 50 FPS but that didnt work and checking Use FPS limit results in a black screen. Can somebody help me with that?

FPS Limit must be on and either auto or manually set
    Frame Skipping should be off

If hat is crashing the game then there is an issue with your machine rather than the settings, unless you are just not giving it time to actually boot up in the first place

hmm, it does sound like framerate problem, but you said you tried fixing the framrate, I have heard of computer Viruses that will speed up your computer to much, try testing other emulators and programs, and if its not a virus try messing with the frame settings more, and also try different plugins other then the ones included in ePSXe, you can download other plugins online
