Your not missing anything as far as DSI exclusive games go, there are less than 10 and they are nothing special
There are a few games that have DSI features though that work just fine just the DSI features can't be used obviously
There is at least 1 flash kit that can be used in DSI mode but that is more for homebrew (possibly blocked now anyway)

Write DSTT into Google, then click images.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here
