Default Having Trouble Getting to the ISO file

Hi, I'm really new to the whole emulation thing so I'm a bit unsure of what to do. I've tried to read guides and everything but so far it's just left me really confused.

So, basically I am running pscx2 on a mac 10.8.5. I downloaded a rom off Emuparadise and extracted the 7zip file, but the extracted file just created another folder with a .bin file in it and a .cue. I have tried extracting the .bin file again but ended up with a whole bunch of files that just had BIG in the title (no hjsplit.001 or anything). I then tried again and converted the .bin file to a .iso file, but it wouldn't play in the emulator and just had a blank black screen with the words 'bilinear filtering - normal'. And nothing.

Before this point I just got to a 'please insert play station or play station format disk' but that was before I extracted the file.

    Please help, I'm completely lost.

The .bin/.cue combo you got is, for all intents and purposes, equivalent to the .iso files you're used to. The only difference is it's two files instead of one, where the .cue file holds track information and the .bin file is the actual disc image. There's no reason to try extracting the bin file further.

To use it with PCSX2, just click CDVD at the top of the emulator, then Iso Selector, then Browse. Browse to the .bin file and double click it. Finally, click System (next to CDVD) and click "Boot CDVD (fast)".
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

Never convert a *.bin+*.cue to a *.iso, 90% of the time information is lost and the game will not work after converting
