G'morning people.
The game runs better than it did before, but I'm still gonna get a 360 copy this week lol.
WTF the Symphonia plat will take 150 hours, fuck this shit
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
True if you're talking about mp trophies, but there are many sp trophies for pretty much exploring all the ins and outs of a game. Collectables, kill types (or no kills) and that sort of thing.
I use to think about it the same way as you but now I see it as no different to: playing a game through first then consulting a strategy guide to find and do everything
Of course mp trophies are a different matter, I only go for that stuff if it doesn't seem impossible and I thought the sp component was ok, or I really like the game.

I must admit it feels a little good if you get something and sometime down the track you happen to consult your history on psnprofiles it's listed as very or ultra rare

I've never been a big fan of trophies/achievements either, I like to just play games for the plot for the most part and if there's a game I want to get skillful at it's generally a multiplayer game.
Your games don't, but Japanese games do have trophies

I never was until I got a PS3 at the start of the year. With 360 I never paid for gold, so any game that had mp/co-op achievements never got finished. And as a result I just didn't care about achievements much at all. I did look at lists for some particular games I really enjoyed after playing through once, but that was pretty rare.
