    Default Final Fantasy 9 help ePSXe

    to start off, i will post my dxdiag information so you guys can get an idea of my system capabilities

    anyways with my system im using epsxe v1.6.0 and petes opengl driver 2.7.
    i have everything set on "Fast" but i still get some slowdown during battles and cutscenes in final fantasy 9

    what version of epsxe should i be using? and what settings should i be using for my system?

    1.6.0 is for XP and under
    get either 1.9.0 or the shark enhanced version of ePSXe 1.8.0

    Recommended settings to use go as

    And remember that if you are going to run in ePSXe v.180 or v.190 the PAL versions of FF9 you will need to use a sbi file, since FF9 is a protected game in the PAL version.

    Thanks I forgot to mention that

    EDIT:- I know why I did not mention it, because the user is using the US copy, you can tell because it boots fine , but you are very correct the PAL version have the copy protection, I know this well myself.
