Default Transfer 3DS cartridge games to SD?

So I just got a 2DS and it's pretty cool so far. My problem, however, is that I refuse to buy digital when the prices are usually worse than retail. The downside to that, of course, is that you have to switch out the cartridges to play different games and you have to be careful not to lose them.

My question is, is there any way to transfer the game from the cartridge onto the SD card? I don't want to do anything illegal (sell the games after transfer). I just want to have all my owned and legally paid for games on my system at all times.

    Thanks in advance!

Even with piracy this is still an issue. The only 3DS flashcard really available at the moment only loads 1 game at a time. There is a upcoming card which should allow you to load several games, but it's not out yet. Who knows when it'll come out, or how well it'll even work.
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

No such thing compadre, better off just getting a 3DS Card case to lug them around in.

Ok. So I guess I'll have to lug around a plastic cartridge case. I wish there was a larger selection of cases for the 2DS system itself.

Here's another question. Is there any way to run emulators on the 3DS systems? I'm thinking NES, SNES, GNES, etc.

Yes, but you'll need a compatible flash cart such as the Supercard DSTWO.

Supercard DSTWO allows play of NES, SNES, GameBoy/GBC/SGB, GameBoyAdavnce, Mastersystem, GameGear, Megadrive/Genesis & DS to name a few

Please Note that Flash Kits for use with the 3DS/2DS do require updating before your console is updated, it is a good idea to ask whoever is selling the kits to update the kit for you before sending it to you, otherwise the card will be blocked, alternatively if you still have a DS you can use the original or Lite DS to update the flash kit with

So how exactly do these Supercards work? Can I load as many games as I want on it and just play them on my 2DS? Where would you guys suggest I buy one from?

So I just looked into the Supercard DS2. I'm a little confused on what platforms the card can actually emulate. Will it require me to hack my 2DS at all or is it just plug and play? I also can't find a reliable place to purchase one.

It acts the same as a DS cart, it plugs into the DS/3DS game slot, it does not alter the 3DS in any way

    Download Links:
Links are hidden from guests. Please register to be able to view these links. They are reliable but shipping times is not great, something like 2 wks, I don't remember exactly but I have had a few carts from them with no issues asides from the shipping time.

Don't forget to ask them to flash the update on to the kit first before they ship (I have never done that myself as I own a DS Lite so can do that myself) you may need to buy a MicroSD at the same time though (I never did buy my MicroSD cards from them myself).

Where can I find emulators that work with this thing? I'd like to play NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, and DS games on i

Doh why ask then and silly to ask if you don't include the region you live in. I live in the UK so a local store to me would not be local for you, though the one I gave ships worldwide and is also cheaper once you use the 2013 discount code

    Download Links:
Links are hidden from guests. Please register to be able to view these links. It is up to you who you order off of though if the other one is more localized to you then you will receive it much much quicker.

To run anything on the Supercard DSTWO you require the OS called DSTWO Eos http://eng.supercard.sc/manual/dstwo/download.htm

also read http://eng.supercard.sc/manual/dstwo/use.htm (though it does come with a basic manual of sorts anyway)

http://eng.supercard.sc/manual/dstwo/plugin.htm for the official ones of SNES and GBA that are enhanced just for that kit and take advantage of the kits extra ram chip

DS games are supported native in the Supercard DSTWO and what the kits like this are initially designed for (though yes this one designed to do more).

http://nintendo-ds.dcemu.co.uk/ look on the left side menu scroll down until you see Main look a little further down there until you see Emulators for Nintendo DS can be found below under that has a huge list of systems emulated via a DS flash kit

    Great! Thanks.

Do the emulators have to be updated based on the flash kit or DS' firmware version?

    Nope

It is only the Flash Kit that requires updating before updating the 3DS

The emulators or any other software run on the flash kit will always work before and after updating the flash kit and 3DS

EDIT sorry make that 2DS.... mumble why take 3D away you could turn it off anyway and 2DS just sounds lame
