A better snes emulator for the psp ?

Snes9x Euphoria and all its other releases kinda gets the job done,but when theres a game like final fantasy 6, the framerate goes down as low as 20fps. not to mention the emulator is very buggy. are there any other emulators out there ? I can't seem to find much by searching

Moved to Everything Console unless you are emulating the PSP on your PC then emulating the SNES inside the PSP emulator that is a bit pointless.

Big huge massive hint... Final Fantasy VI was released as a PSX CD game that will play perfect on the PSP

As for SNES emulators I don't think there has been anything new for a very long time now, there are various version of Snes9x though and one version may work slightly better with some games than another version, there are still a few games that you just can't get full speed or bug free on the PSP though

NOTE: some of our PSX ISO's are compressed a few times, best extract pro to use is www.7-zip.org (for rar and 7z files) and if the game file is an ecm it will require unecm,ing before it can be used/converted to a PSX eboot for the PSP

Use Pop 3.03 or do what the next quote recommends

If you use a high version of pops you will get a corrupted save. To solve this, delete your non working save, then use popsloader to run the game on 3.03. Once you get to the title screen you’ll have a perfectly working save. You can now reset and use popsloader and use a higher version to play the game.

How to install (I have included all POPS versions as you don’t need to.):

Copy the popsloader folder into the SEPLUGINS folder. If you don’t have one please create new folder in the root of the PSP and name it SEPLUGINS.
Open the POPS.txt. If you don’t have any create new text document in the SEPLUGINS folder and name it POPS.
Add the following line in it if you have placed the files in the memory stick ”ms0: / seplugins / popsloader / popsloader.prx 1” or “ef0: / seplugins / popsloader / popsloader.prx 1” if it’s in the internal memory of PSP GO. Don’t forget to check if POPS.txt has a blank line at the end – if no add one.
Hit the select button on your PSP and choose “Reset VSH” option.
How to use :

Run the PS1 game converted for PSP.
Hit the R button as soon as you see the PSX gameboot
Choose the POPS you want
