    Default Windows on DS Question

    Hey Guys

Sorry if I'm in the wrong area, but I'd like to ask a question regarding DS's

My son has one, that's how I came to be here.

I use a recording program (DAW) called Reaper, which is awesome, is the development of WintenDos advanced enough to run it? Reaper installs on a flash, it's tiny in comparison to Logic and others. Total download 13megs. 32 and 64 bit versions.

Can a DS be wiped and XP installed or does it run on top? How much memory can you install in a DS etc etc?

I have a bunch of other questions, but let's see if I'm in the right place first!

    Cheers

    The simple answer is no

The DS runs it's OS from a ram chip that is flashed with signed updates, the only way to currently run homebrew/3rd party software/OS is via a flash kit that also can't be used to run windows

WintenDos is just a simulator i.e. it pretends to be Windows but it does not actually run any windows exec files, it is only made to look like windows

P.S. if you no longer want to post here, just don't
