Default I got a problem with ps2 iso (Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3)

I read many threads and none of them describes my problem, one of the isos i played on ps2 emulator start lagging in the middle of the game and half of the screen turned white but i still can play it. either the game have a problem or the emulator, and i played other games but they were perfect. So i figured out the only way to fix the problem is to get a different version of the game and the game is Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 3 (Austraila), and I want the USA version, any help?

It's the emulator not the game that is the issue, getting another region version will not help in the slightest.

PS2 emulation is far from perfect in itself but some games are very much playable while others have issues

Disable any speed up hacks would be a good start

You may be able to fix the problem just by changing some settings round

P.S. this is a help section not a ISO request section, but as it happens you chose the best place to ask about the game

I dont think this specifications have anything to do with it,
because all the other games work perfectly except this game

It's not the game. It's the emulator settings. Just because one game works fine doesn't mean another will.

I should have asked for your plugin settings too but here are a few things to try.

Run the game in native resolution. Turn off any speed hacks especially the VU one. Also you can switch to the directd3d9 renderer - or even play with the software one which is probably the best for testing a game.

Did you in fact try software mode? It should clear up any half screen issues. Config=> video=> plugin settings the drop down menue for renderer choose direct3d9 software and you can try bumping up extra rendering threads to 1.

Leave all speed hacks completely off until we see if we can get a fullscreen before trying any speed boosting.

I have read however that 2/3 of the way through the game there's a glitch which prevents you from continuing and there's no way around it so far. (unless this is it) as far as version 1.0.0 so unless this was fixed recently there's not much we can do until a later revision comes out with a fix for it.

Won't stop us from trying though

P.S. if there is a bug that exists still, make sure you save often at every in-game save point or at key moments (memory card saves that is), so if you do get so far and can't progress you can upload a save as close to that as possible so we can see if we can get you past that point. Even if I have to hack the save so it's past that point or play it on a real PS2 to get past and give you the save back.

No idea with that one. I don't know if it's game related like you have to do something to get them to show up? Or if it's emulator related?

Only thing I can suggest at the moment is go back a save and try again. I do have a niggling of an idea but it's a long shot. I'll think about it though.
