    Default PSP battery?

It looks I need to get a new PSP battery for my PSP.
I was thinking of getting one from ebay or amazon, those 3rd party ones, but I'm hearing mix things with regards to their quality.

Any suggestions as to where to buy from and which brand to get?

    Thanks.

Can't you just get another one of the same 1200mAh Sony battery that originally came with the PSP when you bought it? That's what I did. I heard only bad things about 3rd party batteries. Cheap garbage that will die after a couple days, etc.

Most people also swear by the Extended Life battery kit made by Sony (this one), but it's also expensive as shit as you can see.

The bottom line is that you should try to buy stuff that was made by Sony. It's a bit of a gamble with 3rd party batteries, based on what I read online.

I also strongly recommend an official one

I really hate it when things become hard to get then end up selling for silly prices

P.S. make sure it is the correct model battery for your system

as long as you know it's working it makes no difference unless it's officially sold by Amazon then you are just buying from another user, always check the rep of whoever is selling though.
