    Default DSi flash cart help

    I really need some advice/help
I have recently bought a Nintendo DSi that has v1.4.5.

I want to buy a R4 flash cart, but I'm not sure which one is
the better card for me, since theres so many.

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great, thanks.

The best flash kit is the Supercard DSTWO

Of the cheap R4 kits, your right there are far too many and not one done by the original R4 team now, these are all cheap kits and are all much the same

R4i Gold 3DS revisions 9,A & C & R4iDSN 3DS revisions 9,A & C... should be fine for you but do require rom patching ect for some games to work, these are work a bit better with a homebrew kernal instead of official ones by the name of WooD

P.S. if you are going to buy any of those you are better off buying them from stores that update the flash kit for you before posting out to you ect..

Supercard DSTWO is the only one that is really working. It's reliable, looks nice, has great support, and is all around a safe bet for a good cart that will run DS roms for you.
The R4 carde are really cheap, and I would never trust them. I personally have a Supercard and can confirm it works on the latest DSi firmware(I made the mistake of updating, so I had to buy the DSTWO!)
    Have Fun!

In contrast I've never had any issues with my R4 card (specifically the R4i Gold) on my 3DS, aside from the time I updated the 3DS before updating the card. I'm also fairly sure it supports the latest DSi firmware (are they even updating the DSi anymore?) with the latest card update.

To the OP, basically, if you're looking for a card just to do DS roms and some emulators (GBC, NES, Genesis & others work, Snes & GBA not so much), I would highly recommend an R4i Gold, specifically the r4ids.cn version, as it's significantly cheaper and works great in my experience. If you need more features than this, then the Supercard DSTWO is the more expensive alternative.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

Funny enough it's not the extra features that I recommend DSTWO over R4 for.

It's the no real support and messing around with rom patching for the protected games that is needed for the R4 kits.
DSTWO has great support with official updates and no patching needed games just work directly

You get what you pay for when you go for the cheapest of kits
