Default PCSX2 Choppy sound and low fps

OK, so I just downloaded pscx2, along with the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 5 iso, everything in the game work relatively good, except the sound, it's choppy, and on some sound effects it makes a weird noise, I could also could use a fps increase =P anyway to improve the sound and the fps(I have 26-30 fps) Thanks in advance

Simply sounds like your system is not up to spec for PS2 emulation, but there are speed hacks that you can enable

It also could be a matter of software or hardware running the emulator. If you press "F9", it may or may not do better for you. It could also be a matter of you needing to customize your GSDX plugin to run multiple cores. Always put 1 less core than you have. For instance, if you have 4 cores, put 3 and so on.

Pcsx2 is only capable of recognizing 3 cores anyways.

You should probably post your pc specs.

Speedhacks will help but the further you go the more graphics and sound corruption you'll run into. Try to find a balance and/or tradeoff.

Sorry for not repling in a long time, I lost my laptop ac adapter(baby cousin hid it), I tried the sugestions, and all works fine now, good fps and all. execept the sound, for some reason on most emulators I use the sound is a pain to set up, any tips on how to improve sound?
