How to use unleashx?

Ok i'm pretty new to xbox softmodding. I have a xbox 360 I softmodded after extracting drive key with a home made probe but I can't work out a few things to play a burnt game on the original xbox.
Firstly I have installed the unleashx 3.1 dashboard. I can't workout how to start the dashboard sometimes it starts when I boot the xbox and if I want to access the xbox dashboard I start the xbox by opening the draw tray and it goes into the xbox dash but I'm not completely sure this is correct way and sometimes it don't work. Also when I try to load the xbox dash from inside unleashx it just hangs after the initial xbox logo splash screen.
Secondly how do I play a burnt game I have one that I converted to Iso but when I look at the files on the disk in unleashx it's still showing the two original files that was there before I iso'd it does this mean the iso is not correctly converted?

What did you use to create the ISO? also what game are we talking about?

I never liked UnleashX myself and replaced that with XBMC, just ftp the XBMC to the E:\Dashboard path

XBMC can be set to autorun xbox games from DVD and CD, though the best way to run games is from HDD, but the stock HDD is only 8GB to 10GB
