Default Insert Playstation or Playstation 2 disc format? What am I doing wrong?

I've looked at so many different guides on the internet and I don't believe I'm over complicating anything. I just get a red version of the original playstation 2 start up menu, saying something along the lines of what the title reads. I'm positive that it's something relatively simple, I just for the life of me, cannot figure it out.

Any suggestions? I would very much appreciate it.

I am fully up to date, I made sure to double-check. The one game that I've gotten anywhere with (to the screen I mentioned in the first post) is Gladius. It is an .iso, I'm not sure what else and/or how else to see what other classifications it falls under.

Have you tried boot cdvd (fast) instead of full? This will bypass the ps2 menu.

Looking the game up it seems to be very playable. Have you tried any other games to see if the emulator runs those?

I cannot get Tekken Tag Tournament to load up at all, though that is most definitely a fault of my own somewhere that I can troubleshoot later. I have tried both options of Boot CDVD and they get me to that same screen.

Where did you download the game from, and what files were included in the download?

Also, since you downloaded them from Emuparadise (I'm assuming they were from the mainsite and not the community uploads here at the forums), could you please link us to them?

I'm most certain that it was not a download from a random community member, here is the link to Gladius. http://www.emuparadise.me/Sony_Plays...50309-download

I believe that if I can get this one to work, that I can at least get similar files to work anyways, start schooling myself.

    Seriously, just take a screenshot.

Since it will be awhile before you see this, I guess I'll just download Gladius.
