Xbox HDD Sevice screen

I modded my xbox abd was trying to get the ftp working so I unlocked the hdd to see if that would help than forgot to relock it and selected reboot and now I get the "Your xbox requires service" screen no number and flashes red and green can someone inform me on both how to fix this and get the ftp working?
Also does xboxhdm work on a cd-rw and can I use it to lock the drive?
Also the eject button flashes red and green.
I also don't have an eeprom.bin on laptop.

You may be able to lock it on your XP PC with the aid of a certain linux boot CD (for PC), the CD is used for replacing xbox HDD's but does have a lock unlock feature

You can't boot anything on your xbox though the way it is at the moment

P.S. locking/unlocking a HDD will have 0 effect to FTP

to FTP you either need a crossover cable direct to the laptop or a normal network cable hooked direct to the network hub

Note: I can't be 100% sure that will work as I have never messed my HDD up like this

It was the analog's fault I bumped it and it wnet to reboot and I sneezed so my right hand tightened and pushed the A button before I could Tell it to go back up.
And as for the ftp I was trying Filezilla and it kept telling me could not connect so how do I get it to and if not what one will work on an hp LT running windows 7 Or do I need to get the xp LT for it to work?

And the linux disc your talking about slayer's xboxhdm right? And with my problem can I use just to re lock the drive and that'll fix the frag error right?

FTP can be ran from anything once the console is modded then you can FTP all you like just make sure the console FTP settings and software FTP settings are correct and you have it networked correctly

For FTP I have my Xbox hooked up to my Wireless router via a standard network cable (yeah xbox to router is not wireless) my laptop goes through the same router but wireless

what frag error.. actually I wouldn't know anyway like I said before I didn't get errors

And not sure what the disc was called it's been years since I modded the xbox

What number is shown on the top left... actually that does not matter the reason you are getting that is because you messed the HDD up, lets hope it's not totally messed or you will just need to go out and get another xbox

You don't power the console up at all, you just boot the disc that is linux (windows 95 does boot at all, in fact recommend you do not have that HDD in at all, just take it out and replace with the xbox HDD and boot the Linux CD) you may need to enable CD booting for the computers bios setup, though it should be enabled by default

what i mean is do I turn on xbox then right before error screen remove ide cable and attach hdd to pc or do I just skip that and go right to pc and select lockhd?

No

You don't power the console up at all, you just boot the disc that is linux

I.E. the xbox is not involved at all no hot swapping is needed.

Put the HDD into the win95 PC with the power off
Power cable and IDE cable from the win95 PC can be used
Pop in the Linux CD and boot from it

Try locking the HDD from the Linux menu

Then pop it back into the xbox and power that on

You can use an EEPROM reader and dump the EEPROM from the system to get the HDD key, then redo a new hard drive or just lock your existing one with XBOXHDM.

Another method would be to chip the console, you can use unlocked HDD's then.

I got xboxhdm on cd-r, I found youtube tut's and a working ide cable pc. The problem now is the tower isn't recognizing the cd-rom drive it's had since it was new. If I can get it working again I'll inform yous of any changes. Quick summery: I attach hdd to pc, insert cd after telling tower to look for drive then it will boot into linux right?
