Default Problem with Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 on MAME

Hey guys. I'm having some trouble trying to run Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: the Newcomers on MAME. I already have the NeoGeo Bios, and all my other Neogeo games work just fine. However, what baffles me the most is that for some reason, this game is split into two separate folders: rbff2.zip, and rbff2h.zip. I have both of these in the ROMS folder, but it still won't start up for some reason. I'm stumped, and so here I am, asking for help. My OS is Windows 7, and I use MAME 32 0.115. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

The Roms have been updated to be used on the latest version of MAME which is 0.148.
Either you switch to the latest version or you will have to use CLRMamePro to update the roms for your 0.115 version.

Thanks for replying so quick, really appreciate it. So, I've updated to 0.148, and tried running the game on that. It still won't start, claiming that some files are missing. However, I still have both folders of the game placed in the ROMS folder. Did the roms I download were outdated? If so, does that mean I have to update them?

Have you tried the neogeo games in Final Burn Alpha or Kawaks?

they are a tad bit more user friendly
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

I've now tried it in Final Burn Alpha, and it works, although a little bit buggy and slow. Can't tell if the problem is coming from the emulator or the rom itself.

If there was no error then it is just the game is not fully emulated if there was an error message then the rom version is a miss match.

I've then tried it on another emulator, called Nebula. While it didn't run 100% perfect, it still ran a lot better than it did in Final Burn Alpha. Sure, there are some sound problems with one or two of the stages, and occasional slowdown, but other than that, the game works! (somewhat.)

You can check what files are missing from here
Scroll down to see the rom info. Last time I tried running it, it worked just fine.
