The music files shouldn be in .wav format not mp3. Double check to make sure and if they're not in .wav format you need to convert them to it. Also check your .cue file (open it in notepad), the wav files should be listed in there, and they should be in relative path format ("1.WAV" instead of "E:\new folder\1.wav" for example), if they're not your cue sheet is problematic and you either have to fix it or download another one.

Are you emulating ps1 or are you burning it on disc and playing on real hardware?

Are you sure you even got the PSX version, this was also released on Saturn

Why you have Mp3's is the reason I question what version you have as I have yet to see a PSX game with mp3's

Only seen them with wav files or ape files that should be converted to either raw bin files or wav files

I can give you a cue sheet for the game though

Cue sheets are in the spoiler, copy and paste the one you need to notepad and save as *.* and make sure .cue is on the end of the file name

    Spoiler warning:

Until recently I had the exact same problem, no music in Psxe or Ps2/PS1. What I did to get it working was rediting the original cue sheet, converting all ape files to wave, then wave to bin. With that done I mounted the cue/bin with Daemon Tools lite and ripped it with Alcohole to CCD. SUB. and IMG with "read/fix sub channel" (or something like that) ticked .

That did the trick when burning it for the Ps1/Ps2. Just be sure to use the CCD. when burning.

For the PSXe I downloaded the Mooby2 CD plugin and ticked "Repeat all CDDA tracks" and (very important) increased the "CDDA Volume" to 0.5. Be sure to open the IMG file in PSXe.

I'll upload the files some where, real soon.

Old thread, that did not need to be revived

P.S. this isn't even an issue

I even have this covered in guides anyway plus the op has a CD image with a cue not a ccd but I cover both formats

    thanks for trying though

also newer versions of ePSXe can open cue and ccd files directly to enable CDDA playback with the default audio plugin (I also shared a hack to enable 1.8.0 to use any SPU plugin for CDDA)

P.P.S. you can't create sub data from a disc image so the sub file you create with Alcohol is just a fake one IMG+CCD is the exact same format as BIN+CUE (the cue file is done in plain text though CCD files are coded but do the exact same thing IMG vs BIN the only difference is one uses 00 between tracks the other uses FF between track neither makes any difference at all, but BIN format is the same as what is originally use on a real disc, if you read it in hex)

    Closed.
