Default Downloaded games not working on chipped ps1

Okay so my favourite psx games have stopped working due to scratches and over use (i loved those games so much) and my psx is chipped so we could play the games from my relatives in south africa. So i used this to my advantage and first got 2 games i badly wanted (spyro the dragon and metal gear solid) and both those games work. i burned them with alcohol 120%. I then realised i couldn't find one of the best games we had, crash bash. i downloaded that and it was a cdi file. It burned with astroburn lite and works fine. Now the games that dont work anymore are rayman 2 the great escape and Spyro year of the dragon. Ive downloaded multiple files and they're all CUE and .bin files. Metal Gear Solid discs one and 2 were bother cue .bin files and they work fine. I really need help because i never got the chance to finish those two games as i was rather young and unskilled and moved on to ps2 after a few years. but im desperate for those games and i need help. Either a link thats guarrunteed to work or some other solution/free disc burning program (i dont think y dad will be willing to spend money due to a deal we made). I really need help. I'm a huge spyro fan and if i dont get to play year of the dragon past the second home world i will be seriously pissed and upset. Also please dont tell me to get an emulator and if you're gonna send me instructions to stuff i prefer reading rather than watching a tutorial. im smart and i generally know my stuff. I'm also home sick and i need some sort of entertainment. Oh and the psx/ps1 is in perfect condition. yes we've had it for about 11-12 years but it works fine. Especially the games that were rarely ever played. I was also testing all my other burned games so i could label them and they work just fine.

    Okay, um. Line breaks dude

Anyway. So if I understand correctly you say the games you can't get working are in bin/cue format, correct?

For burning software, I would recommend trying ImgBurn. which you can find here; http://www.imgburn.com/ . You should be able to select the .cue file when choosing an image file to burn, which should load the whole .bin file as well.

If this doesn't work (or your .bin is missing its .cue) you can use Lior's Cue Maker to make a new one. You can find the program here; http://www.warezfaq.com/fleas/Lior%2..._Maker_2.4.zip . Just make sure you select the "Playstation" option under the image type deal.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

darkdragonblitz you really need to break you posts up so people can read them

But I did pick up on one game that has copy protection built into it year of the dragon will detect that you are using a mod chip, the fairy within the game will even tell you, that you are playing a pirated copy, so far there are a couple of anti copy protection patches that should be applied before burning but they are not perfect, the best way is still via emulation that can bypass it via sub data

P.S. if there is no cue with a game you are best getting it downloaded rather then making one because if the game has CDDA tracks and you make a cue sheet you will have automatically lost those by making a cue yourself with cue making software, specially as cdda data is normally stored directly inside a bin file.

99% of cue sheet errors are due to paths being stored in the cue file that can be taken out with notepad

And if patching doesnt work out for you as well and know how to solder/program chips you could just throw a mm3 modchip in there and your grooving (All anti-mod games get bypassed with this chip even with spyro 3), i made a couple guides on how to program them (Step by step and simple as possible).
