    Default no audio in jpcsp-windows-amd64

as the title says theres no audio, at least in some games like Shin Megami Tensei - Persona (USA) for psp. i can hear sound effects fine but otherwise the game is entirely muted both in and out of cut scenes.

other games i downloaded (good thing i remembered the download manager Flashget i had for bigger downloads) such as mega man maverick hunter x and powered up did have bgm but iirc there was a fair delay before it'd start up anywhere but those games were slow as heck (playable but very slow) so that may be the cause for delay there.

in this game i can't hear a thing at all. help please.

also, off-topic but is it me or is EP getting a lot more traffic recently? i've been getting messages like the server is too busy and other minor issues with the forum fairly often lately.

edit: got the persona 2 game downloading now but no audio is gonna take away a good bit of the fun probably :/

Did you install SonicStage and tick the "Decode audio files with SonicStage" in the configuration menu? PSP emulators are unable to decode Atrac3+ sound files yet, so this is the only viable option to get these sounds to work.

google is a great search engine, try it.

In a google search the first link is the official site the next one is for a download of it

downloading it now... oh how i miss the days when you could simply do 1 download and have the program/files you wanted. now you have to download a downloader which then downloads what you were originally looking for. (wouldn't believe how much that annoys me when it comes to downloading mmorpg games as they never list the download size on they're websites)

well, said downloader is now downloading it

edit: ok, got sonicstage installed (dunno if i'll ever have much use for it aside from this though). now to see if the audio in the game will play.

O.O woah, and no delay for the music to start playing, awesome and the persona game seems to have no lag at all so i now have a psp rpg that plays smooth with fully functioning audio tyvm for the help guys.
