Help With Codebreaker V10 PS2

Hello Everyone,Just Got My Slim PS2 [SCPH-75001]
Able To Run HomeBrew With Free Mcboot(Action Replay Max Media Method)
Now To The Problem When I Launch The CB ELF File With ULaunchELF From USB It Takes
Forever,From What I Hear It Has To Do With The Slim's USB Ports,
So I Found A Quicker Way Of Booting It, Copy It To A Memory Card
Make Sure Nothing Is In The USB Ports,And MAke Sure A Single Layer
PS2 Game In In The Drive,It Comes Up Everything Seems To Be Good
But When I Try To Launch A Game It Kicks Back To ULaunchELF
Any Ideas Any Help Would Be Appreciated Thanks.

Codebreaker just doesn't work correctly from memcard for cheats, not sure if other features work from memcard or not as I only tested cheats myself

Just deal with it being slow from memcard

What I Meant To Say Is I Used UlaunchELF To Copy The ELF FIle To The Memory Card And When
UlaunchELF Booted It FROM The Memory I Put A Single Layer Game & It Came Up Normal It Just
Won't Launch Any Games.(Who Knows,It Might Do A Mcboot Check,If You Look Inside Some
Of Hitman Contracts ZIP Files It Has A Mcboot Check)

I know it doesn't work, nothing to do with mcboot

Yes I'm talking it booting games as well

I know you can boot it from mcboot while on the MC fine but that's all you can do with it

If it was a MCBoot issue then it wouldn't boot from usb either via MCboot

Well That's Okay,Thanks For Your Help Guess I'll Just Have To Use The Gameshark V3 ELF,It Has No
Problems Whatsoever.

If you need any codes converting it can be a pain but it is doable

http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?72999 the guide is aimed at Codebreaker but you can convert the other way with the tools on that page as well or you can try using RAW codes as well (most cheat systems can use RAW codes except the MAX cheat systems)

Personly I'm an ESR user so only use patched Codebreaker ELF files so for me a GameShark ELF isn't much use unless I'm playing an original disc, newer cheat systems do have horrible load times to start with though because they load all sorts of rubbish on boot and or slow menu navigation mostly because all the menu options are all different elf files rather than a single self contained ELF (PS2 exec)

I'm Good,I Have Had max convert 0.71 for a while, i converted some ar max codes
to raw, even the (M) code and they work just fine,Another Question, I Know This Isn't CB Related,
But I Got The DUMPBIOS-MASS.ELF and for some reason when it dumps my bios
pcsx2 says it's a japan bios when it's not, it's a SCPH-75001 USA,Any Help Would be great
also i'm pretty sure the program is PAL because the screen blinks vertical, my USB drive blinks
when data is being read or wrote,so i know when its finished.One More Question, Since You Are
From The UK,Does The CB10 Include Codes For NTSC & PAL,Because The System.cnf File
Says Video Works on Both.Just Asking.

Codebreaker is US and so comes only with NTSC codes but with most cheat devices it did have a UK counterpart called the xploder/xplorer, that uses the exact same code types or as I tend to do just use RAW codes there are a few PAL codes at codetwink (used to be the homesite of codebreaker back in the day)

It does make me wonder if it actually has PAL 50 support though for the codebreaker, can't see it and too lazy to test

Much like the Action Replay to the Game Shark, it's the same device/cheat disc

since Max though they have the same names both in the US and UK

As for your other question it might be best in a new thread, I can't claim to have every used it :/ or just download the bios instead of dumping it yourself

Okay Now If I Would Have Searched Around,I Would Have Known
That It Goes Back To UlaunchELF So That You Can Launch A Game's ELF File,
Or OPL For Cheats,Now That I Know, This Way Is Even Better.
One More Thing,I Found A BIOS Dump 2.0 Which Correctly
Dumps My Bios As It Should now pscx2 says country is USA.
