INSTALLING
You only need do this once
1. download and install ImgBurn from http://www.imgburn.com/
Thats it for installing
ADVANCED SETTINGS
You only need do this once (This is just for CD burning)
1. Run the program ImgBurn
2. Hit Tools>Settings from the top menu
3. Hit the Write tab then on that tab hit Page 2
4. Under Default Overburning Method (lower left) Hit Overburn
5. All other settings can be kept as default here
RUNNING
1. Run the program ImgBurn
2. Hit Write image file to disc
3. Insert your blank DVD-R/+R or CD-R Some games will require Dual Layer DVD discs
4. Under settings on the lower right change Write Speed to 1x (this will change it to burn at the lowest speed, that will more than likely be higher than 1x)
5. Under Source (top left) Hit the folder icon with a spy glass over it to the right of Souce
6. pick the PSX or PS2 disc image you wish to burn [CD images make sure to pick the cue, ccd or mds file depending on the format, iso for DVD images]
7. Hit the big disc document icon with an arrow pointing to a disc (lower part of gui) to start burning
Notes
- The above also applies to ESR patched PS2 DVD games
- Dual Layer disc may have issues with some PS2's for those of you that do (myself included) I recomend looking for rip kits (most do not actually remove any content)
- In general Verbatim media is the best quality you can get
- If your PS2 can use them, DVD+R is the best media to use, older versions of the bulky PS2 can only use DVD-R media newer bulky models are fine with DVD+R's (the reason for this is that the PS2 originally came out before DVD+R media came out)
