Question Controller to usb and back?

Yo I know a lot of you are just going to tell me to google it so I'll tell you now that I did that. I know about the ps2 to usb converters but what I'm looking for is a usb to ps2 converter since I got my hands on a ps3 third party controller with turbo I wanted to use it on my ps1 but we all know the ps1 has no drivers or usb port and I've been looking for a week before I posted this but can someone tell me this converter exists or if I'm dreaming.

I can safely say I've never once seen an adapter that goes specifically from PS-anything to USB. However, I can't imagine it would be entirely impossible to possibly create your own adapter to do this. Maybe someone with a bit more experience with this type of hardware might have some insight?
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

I've never heard of that either. I've seen people do custom things like adding ps2 controllers to psp and stuff though.

You have lucked out, no such thing as far as I know of

It would be too hard to do with there being too many variation of USB controllers, not even all PS2/PSX to USB converters work all the same

    EDIT:-

Other well known forums for sony consoles and homebrew say the same it hasn't been done, most just say you can grab PSX / PS2 controllers for cheap enough nowerdays

It would be almost as cheap as buying a converter anyway if you can find them, they are becomming hard to find now

I think you guys swung at a miss on what I ment, I ment take a usb controller and use it on a ps1-2 controller port like official controllers.

Answer is still no and I knew exactly what you ment

USB pad to normal PSX pad port or PS2 pad port, this just has not been done.

It could be done but (you will not find such a thing for sale though) it would be too expensive to get USB controller hadware to convert the signal back to standard PSX/PS2 pad ports and is much cheaper just to get a pad specificly made for the PSX/PS2 with rapid fire functions, personly I have a cheap pad just for that otherwise I use official PS2 & PSone pads only for my good olde PS2 and PSone

Even if you do, do this yourself you still need to be able to program the hardware to read the USB input correctly and convert the signals back to 9 signals from the 4 USB signals, but the major reason why it has not been done is again just the price of the USB controller chip sets and boards needed to convert the signal that would normally be done via a computer driver or pre programmed into the hardware the pad was designed for

Downloads seem fine but you do now have the option of ftp and http, try switching between one and the other (Hit the update button under those) one may work for you beter than the other if neither work it is possible your ISP has blocked them

Yeah MasJ had made it optional what server settings are used to let more access the files, some have issues using FTP setup and others like yourself have problems with http setup, this is to do with your ISP and or the country you reside in.

In general we are always trying to improve in one way or another

Personly been working hard to get this new section and Everything Emulation improved

Actually I have always been doing that since I was made a mod, then progressed to admin though my heart has always been in these sections
