Hi just need help getting this to run over ethernet I tried everything that the tutorial says to do but it wont start can someone give me video tutorial of how to get it to work cause all I'm getting is a blank black screen.

Older than you think
1. make sure its a game that you know works... Important
2. if your not using a crossover cable , connect PS2 to a hub (LAN hub as ADSL hub either should do)
crossover eithernet cables are not the same as normal eithernet cables
2.5 if you are using a crossover cable hook that directly between PC and PS2
3. do whatever it tells you to do in whatever guide you are using

I'm trying the original persona and ff8 both work great on usb and I'm using jayjay's ps2link and client and I know what a crossover cable it I used it before I got an ide hdd for ps2 phat and I have it connected straight to pc it just stays on ready screen and on pc side it says ps2client failed to work checking for solutions even after I tell firewall to let it pass. REALLY NEED HELP.
